Bangs Canyon
Looking at doing Bangs Canyon either Sat or Sun with Reuben & Michelle, and Jared & his brother. Anyone else interested?

I'd be interested. Was going to hit Moab Saturday, but it sounds like basically a road run. If you guys decide to do it, I'd be more interested in this.

Saturday works. Cloudy but no rain/snow in the forecast for the rest of the week so should be dry.

Looking forward to it Walt! Too bad we can't have the same crew as Moab.

Re: Bangs Canyon
Who else but me is local that's going? I'm fine with meeting at the albertsons. There may be a couple others coming along as well. One guy may be on a quad instead of his JK. Has anyone ran the whole trail? We've only made it slightly past the playground twice before having to turn around due to "malfunctions." I understand it gets pretty hairy back in there!

Dan & Kristina.
I haven't gotten much past the playground (had to much fun there) and have come the back way some.

Re: Bangs Canyon
Kristina & I (Dan) plan on going too. I've done all of Bangs plenty of times and also did all of the tabeguache trail which is the road to the East which is a long rocky narrow out and back. It does get pretty hairy and requires spotting in the rocky sections. Walt this trail was responsible for most of the dents in my skid plate when I was running mostly stock. The description on trail damage is mostly for the other sections and not the Eastern section of the Tabeguache. That is where you get the higher 7 trail rating. It get narrow through the brush too, so you can't worry about getting scratched up. Walt I lost my phone yesterday so if you tried txting yesterday afternoon I did not get them. I'll try to PM you kristina's number.

Re: Bangs Canyon
it is sort of...you are on the Tabeguache in the beginning to the past playground area. Red loop around isn't bad and more scenic. The blue road is where it gets hairy. I PM'ed kristinas number if you need to reach us.
