Engineer and Imogene pass
We hit up a few trails on a whim this weekend. Luckily they were a open and we mostly had good weather.
It was sure busy up there.
We started Engineer pass right outside of Ouray and it was a bit rough, but fun. We did Imogene after Yankee Boy basin.
The Jeep did well but I am having some problems with strong gas fumes coming from the fuel cap and underneath area when 3/4 and above full. After that, nothing.

Yeah, I just wish we should have planned it better. It sure was great though.

A trip doesn't have to be well planned to be enjoyed. I've had some very memorable Jeepin that was spontaneous, but then my getting stuck on Grand Mesa with a $465 winched out rescue was spontaneous.

Lol. Good and bad I guess. We were going to do black bear but it got too late and started raining today. Not really sure if it was open either.Walt wrote:Onlyone wrote:Yeah, I just wish we should have planned it better. It sure was great though.

Best of my knowledge, Black Bear is still closed. They just opened Imogene on Wednesday. But that is a loop that I intend on doing this year. Quite possibly in the next couple weeks? Will post when I know what's happening.
