EJS first day
So yesterday morning I was invited to the "Flat out good time" run hosted by Daystar international. Thought I would just post a few pics for ya. Rally point was @ 7:30am at the Spanish Arena, where the Daystar crew hooked us up with breakfast and sign in that included a few goodies. I got some wicked trail gloves, shirt, a backpack, other odds and ends and a very nice cam can for my rig.
Even more to my Suprise was a few guys from Jeep arrived to run the trail with some of Jeeps premier concept vehicles.
Nukizer
Stitch and lower 40
As well as superlift, tereflex, summit racing, Bedrugs, and Northridge 4x4.
Oh. Plus Ian Johnson from Exetreme 4x4 and KOH racer Shannon Cambell as well.

Re: EJS first day
The first really fun obstacle is the chute. This guys line is totally optional.
At the top of the chute is an optional section called the waterfall. This was the only part of the trail I opted out on.
Ian's rig made the waterfall look easy. So did the YJ buggie
This is what a rig on 37"s and a Hemi look like coming up the waterfall.
Hooking up the winch to get the Daystar rig up.
Shannon Cambell in the stitch concept

Oh lookie here! We got Walker Evans on the trail in his bad ass rig.
Some of those new Falkin MT tires that haven't been released for sale yet. Got to see them in action as some of the Daystar guys was running them thru their paces on this JK8
Wheelbase is your friend in the waterfall
They fed us a lunch out on the trail.
My rig and the Lower 40 at lunch break
After lunch was the tilt a whirl. Always good pucker coming down this twisting turning oh $h!t spot. U can't see at all.
Tereflex rig coming down Easter egg hill. No one crunched metal here but a few came close.
My view of the Nukizer rig taking his turn down Easter egg hill in front of me. Yes they are trying to keep the rig from tipping over and it was close.
Move. My turn.
This shot gives u a better idea of Easter egg hill. The Easter egg under this rig wants to throw u into that rock on the left. And believe me. There are plenty of marks on that rock.
Notice where his ass end goes.

Re: EJS first day
Lower 40 comes down with plenty of room
Kelly from Daystar sporting a $300 lift and 37s. He made every obstacle with ease
The last obstacle of the day.. The intimidator. No picture I can post will give you the effect of actually experiencing it
To the left in this pic is around a 500 ft canyon. U only get about 12" of play on the passenger side. Depending on the width of your rig
And last we went back to town and I had Metalcloak run my rig on their CTI to score my flex and check for any issues after our run
Scored an 830. Got a few ideas for improvement. Everything is still working great and hey. I drove all the way from silt to Moab. Wheeled all day with crazy rigs and drove all the way home same day and no issues. I'd say that makes my rig pretty solid
