Half Moon Creek Trail Run 06/21/2014
Meet at Half Moon Creek Trail Head Parking Area 9:30am
Depart By 10:00am
Directions
Located just south of Leadville. Highway 24 to Lake County Road 300 (Go West) Turn left onto Lake County Road 11. Go 1.2 miles keep right on dirt road then 3.4 miles to parking...
Or for lazy people like me put this in your GPS.... N39°10.03' W106°23.50'
Expect 5-7 hours on the trail depending on the pace/lunch break
I might camp the night prior at the Half Moon Creek Camp Ground. Any one else?
Trail should mostly be intermediate, one difficult section. And all this may change depending on snow, mud, and most importantly the water levels.

Re: Halfmoon Creek 6/21/14
Not going to be able to make it. I got 2 herniated discs and another one bulging in my neck. I got a epidermal 2 weeks ago but it didn't take, so I'm going back for round 2 tomorrow afternoon.
This better work, NOT going to get my discs fused together and the pain is wearing me down. Got my new rock rails and can't put them on.
Sorry about this Lucas, was looking forward to it.
Have fun, be safe and take lots of pictures.

Dang it Walt! We will miss you out there. I might be able to find some time to help you with your rails. Lucas, are you still on?

I could do it myself if it weren't for my neck and shoulders. I couldn't even change a tire right now between the pain and loss of strength.
