new to CO, Gilpin/Front Range

Post by jayson44 on Mon Feb 24, 2014 9:13 am

hey guys. just joined, following the links on Jeepforum. we just moved to Black Hawk from TX in September. we're NOT Texans...just happened to live there for a few years while my wife went to school. just thought I'd clear that up right away. Very Happy

we live up on 119 between Black Hawk and Nederland, so we've got access to tons of trails. hit me up if you're heading up this way for runs. I can also check snow status for anyone since the few trails that are still open usually have lots of snow on them. I live right near Pickle Gulch, and am within a couple miles of Ned and the surrounding trails. come spring time, when the FSRs are opened up again, I'll be out quite a bit, so hit me up.

I drive a black '98 Sahara on 35's.

Welcome!

I would really like to get over and explore your area. We have a trail run this March in Moab if your interested. I saw your EJS post on jeep forum as well and it looks like we are assembling a group to go if you are interested.

yeah dude, I'm stoked for spring time. so many trails to explore! unfortunately, I'm having to cancel my EJS trip this year. we're trying to buy a house, so all my extra cash is going to that.

ps. that pic is cut off funny and it won't let me edit it. oh well.
