Chinaman's Gulch - Buena Vista

It's a bit of a haul from my neck of the woods.  Me and my buddy left Littleton at 8am and started the 2 hour trek to Chinaman's Gulch.  The more I explore CO, the more beautiful I find it.  Seeing the mountains tower out of the flat planes was really a sight to behold.  The snow caps had me a little worried, but for no reason.

When we got to the trail head, we both aired down and I disconnected my sway bar.  I had never run this trail before, but I've read reports and seen pictures.  I knew we were in for some great and pretty tough crawling.  Thankfully the weather was perfect for wheeling!  Bright and sunny with a slight breeze.  

My rock sliders and skid plates definitely proved their worth as they got beat up pretty good trying to negotiate some of the more difficult obstacles. I would have to admit my little Sport's short comings and trying an easier line.  

All day we only ran into 1 ATV actually on the trail and total of 5 rigs parked.  

All in all had a great day and will definitely be going back after some more modifications!
