Hole in the Rock Trail UT 3/21

I know some of you are talking about wheeling that weekend locally but a few of us have been talking offline and I think we are going to do this trip, you are all welcome to come of course.

Trail Difficulty:
Appears to be moderate, nothing overly difficult mostly some slick rock climbs

This will be an over night trip, as it is a long trail with some technical spots. 30 miles one way. It is an out and back trail, planning on camping at the end. Assuming we get into camp at a decent time I plan on hiking down to Lake Powell, I think its like a mile? Otherwise you can hang out in camp and relax if a hike is not appealing.

Requirements:

Extra Fuel, your call how much, 5-10 gallons
Reliable Vehicle (This is in the middle of no where)
Provisions to camp/eat/water
A share of firewood for the group
CB, not required but highly recommended.

This is a ways south of Moab, I am planning on probably heading out Friday night and camping along the way near or south of Moab. Any one else is welcome to join. (I may camp by Fins and Things and do a partial trail run if I can get there at a decent time)

Thanks guys. I can't make that trip but hope we can see a few in Moab on Wednesday and Thursday before. Be careful and take lots o pics because it looks amazing!
